Mystik Luminate had wanted to write a new EP over the holidays. Despite the unforeseen circumstances, they were still able to record some new material. Here is a summary video of a live set done to document the new material.
Hey Friends & Fans! We have a new EP in the making…comprised of some thematically (Mystik Luminate) related audio content from our big SW roadtrip and Peter’s stay in Austin, Texas last year in the Summer of ’21. Here we have two tracks that we started in Austin, Dave multitracked them on his end and Peter was working the Deluge and PolyBrute in Dave’s studio as he engineered. Dave has opened Pandora’s box and is diving deeper with modular gear. Recent new additions to the kit are the Pittsburgh Modular Voltage Research Labs and also the 1010 Blackbox. There is constant churn with the modular rig and various modules either meeting their maker or finding their day in the sun. There have been some standouts so far. Largely the move to modular has been a huge win for getting off the computer to explore and experiment. It’s always super fun when Dave aka Luminate makes it back to SF.
